7:45 - 2:30 Daily

 

Students will visit the library during their teachers scheduled class time to check out a book and return the one they have read. Grades 2-6 are allowed to return their book early and check out a new one if they finish before their next library visit.

Students may check out one book at a time for grades K-2 and two books at a time for grades 4-6 and may renew that book for up to two weeks. We do not charge late fines; however, if a book is lost or damaged, students are expected to pay for a "library bound" replacement.

Reading books aloud to children stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word. Even after children learn to read by themselves, it's still important for you to read aloud together.
