I am originally from Huntsville, and graduated from Huntsville High School in 2006. From there I went to the University of Alabama where I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. I had the privlidge of beginning my teaching career at Aliceville Middle School in Pickens County. In 2012 I received my Master's Degree in Severe Disabilitie, also from the University of Alabama. I moved back home to Huntsville, where I began teaching at Meridianville Middle School in Madison County. In 2013 I transfered to Sparkman Middle School where I was honored to have my first self-contained classroom. In 2015 I took a positiion as the self-contained Special Education teacher at Lawrence County High School, where I taught for 3 years. In 2018 I had the honor of transfering to Hatton Elementary School to work as a Special Education teacher and to be closer to home. It is such a joy to work with all of the wonderful students at Hatton Elementary School!
I live in Russellville with my husband, Bartlett, and my daughter, Landers Anne. We love living on our farm with the cows, horse, dogs, and turkeys! I love going to the beach, shopping, going to eat, and going to church!
